Today I'm going to write a much needed post on ettiquets to visit a garment store , boutique or designer outlet for clothes.
I often think over this issue ,mostly after visiting the store and now trying to express my thoughts in mannerful way.
The thing which makes me sad is watching some one talking very-very rudely to sales person.
1- The way u deal:
Please always remember that the sales person also have self-respect and dignity.
They are working here as many of us works at different places. Please be calm and ask for to resolve the problems you have in respectful way.
2-How To handle Clothes:
Please be sure that the clothes you are taking inside the try room should not get any damage in any way especially while taking them off. Some times people tear a little from the sides of the slits while taking off.
One more thing which i usually spot is that people use to leave the dresses in side the try room hanging on the pegs, which is always irritating for the person who comes next, where should he/she hang their clothes if pegs are already occupied. It's your resposibility to put them back or hand over them to sales person.
3- Hygiene care:
As you know that it's not only you the one who is going to try the clothes so please make sure that your body is sweat free specially under-arms.
I personally got shirts many times with little body odour , can't pull my self to try them on and left.
4- Eating and Drinking in side the store:
This is really un-ethical to argue over this issue in the store.
Almost all the stores have boards with their rules written on them and this is clearly mentioned on most of them that "edibles are not allowed"
So there is no point of further argue or discussion.
5- Looking After Your Kid:
I have seen many times that moms busy in picking the dresses and kids ran here and there inside the store, hitting others.
It's entirely your responsibility to take care of your kids and make them to behave in mannerful way so the others do not get irritated.

It's my personal opinion. This post is based upon all that I experience while shopping and thought of writing on it .
