Review | Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eye Collection

Having this beautiful palette in my hands, I'm feeling so excited. Got this from Amor( a facebook cosmetic store). Before letting you know my opinion let's have a look on what "Too Faced Cosmetics" claim.

What Company says;
The Chocolate Bar experience begins as soon as you open the palette and the smell of sweet chocolate envelops you. The eye shadows are pigmented with pure, antioxidant-rich cocoa powder and includes 16 matte and shimmer shades of natural browns, delicate pinks and luscious plums. Includes our signature how-to Glamour Guide with three looks to get you started.
Where They Got The Inspiration :
This collection was designed in the result of inspiration.Too Faced Co-Founder and Creative Director Jerrod Blandino was inspired to combine the power of antioxidant-rich cocoa powder and makeup while having a chocolate facial and learning about the benefits of cocoa at a Hawaiian spa.
I Just come to know this so thought to share with you all beauties

My Opinion;
This is the most delicious palette I have ever came accross , oops I meant deliciously fragrant. I am all sold. Very nicely blend-able texture. All colours are highly pigmented.

Sixteen sweet chocolatey fragrant eye shadow powders are equally wonderful while applying as they smell. Cocoa powder is used as a main ingredient , due to which skin remains healthy.
This yummy gummy chocolate menu includes shades as follows;
Glided Ganache:

Salted Caramel:
Hazelnut:
Marzipan:
Creme Brulee:
Semi Sweet:
Haute Chocolate:
Milk Chocolate:
Strawberry Bon Bon:
Cherry Cordial:
Black Forest Truffle:
Candid Violet:
Triple Fudge:
Amaretto:
White Chocolate:
Champagne Truffle:
These were the pictures and swatches of beautiful colors of this collection. A variety of looks can be created.
One can easily acquire the results according to her own mood such as dramatic gothic look to a soft subtle look. There is a variety of colors from shimmery to sheen, matte to gold. Mix and match for creating unique styles or use individually.

Glamour Guide:

Also includes a "how to glamour guide" inside the box , in which they reveals the yummiest recipes for chocolatey eye looks.
Bottom line is that , I'm holy souly stupefied in love of this amazing palette.
Price and Availibility :
Can be purchased by any online store. The price shown on there site is $ 42 , where as I got mine for pkr 6000 from online Facebook page Amor.

Review| Victoria's Secret Bombshell Bronze Makeup Kit

Hello pretties!
My today's review is over Victoria's Secret  bombshell makeup kit in bronze.
It came to me as a gift from USA along with lots of other stuff. Yes the source is as usual the same , my sister in law.
So let's come towards review.

According to Victoria's Secrets;

The perfect palette of sexy bronze shades and dramatic brights for summertime looks, all in one expandable, mirrored mini-kit with a mirror. This limited-edition bronze-toned set contains 8 shadows, 4 glossy lipsticks, and one blush all in a compact and portable palette.

Includes:
  • 8 eye shadows, 9 g/.03 oz each
  • 4 lipsticks, .5 g/.017 oz each
  • 1 blush, 4.2 g/.14 oz

My Veiws;
A small pocket friendly packaging , contains a mirror, eight eye colours , four glossy lip colours and a bronzer. Let me explain every thing separately below.
Eye shadows;
Beautiful eight colours with very nice pigmentation. Easily applicable and can be blend so nicely.
                     Eye shadows

Consisting two beautiful shades of blues, one brown shade, two shades of gold, one coral and one vanilla shade ( which I often uses as a hilighter). Now a days I'm in love with these shades.
Swatches;

Lip Colours;
Includes four glossy lip colors.

     Lip colours

After trying them many times I could not say that I am a fan of these four colors .
As a Lip glosses they are nice to some extent but do not work as lip colors up to the mark. The staying power is really very short. Contains sheer shine. All in all I'm not comfortable with these four colours.
Swatches;

Bronzer;
This is really a nice colour for using as a contourer or for the crease of an eye.
Nice staying power with buildable property.
                         Bronzer

Bottom line , I am impressed by the eye colours and bronzer where as lip colours are not my cup of tea.
Swatch;

Packaging;
The container is of good quality plastic which is black in color. Having a mirror inner side of the flip. Two sliding portions, one contains lip colours and the other have pressed bronzing powder.
Price And Availibility;
I got mine as a gift, which was bought from VS Store in Austin , Texas USA for $15. Can be ordered from any reliable online cosmetic store.
Please share your Veiws below if you have also used the same kit.

Wanted To Share The Joy Of Surpassing Experience

Hi girls!
I know I am going so irregular for posting the reviews but what to do, I was really very bussy with some chores but now promising to be on track InShaAllah!
Ok girls so today i am not going to review any product. I will let u know about my experience with an extra ordinary make-up artist "Wafa khan" at Academy of Asthetics and all about I learned from her.
She is so humble and friendly towards her students. Always appreciate questions. Wether one interrupts in between the lecture , she totally satisfies the student by giving the logical answers so sweetly and encourage us to ask in middle of her presentation.
It was a three days "Intensive Course" covering all basics to advance techniques. Which all the other MUAs never let you know in such a short course ( sorry but I had that bad experience periviously).

From the basic starting rules to preparing and priming of skin according to the skin type , foundation application, concealing, contouring , highlighting, several eye make-up techniques, lip colour application on different shapes of lips and how to remove make-up with proper products according to the skin type.
This is not done , she also teaches us the proper way of cleaning of brushes and applicators.
She came up with lots of tips which I have never received by any other MUA.
These tips and techniques r really very helpful.
Where as the staff of Academy of Asthetics and their friendly attitude was cherry on the top.
All the make-up products were provided by the academy for our practice. You don't need to carry a bag full of products. Even a pencil and a note book ( a manual written and designed by Wafa khan) was also provided by the academy.

All in all , a great experience with the best people. Had learned a lot better. Highly recommended for the beginners as well as professional learners.
And yes I have made lots of new friend too.
Share your experience in the comment box.
