Facial Care After Sun Exposure



Excessive sun exposure lead to an uneven complexion , wrinkles and redness. It is the fastest way to age your skin. Some people have more hyper sensitive skin which affected badly just in few minutes in sun. So today I'm going to tell you , how to minimize these effects through home remedies and get a beautiful radiant skin.



Here are some simple steps to follow 
Step One ;
As soon as you reach home after having time under sun, you should apply any of these below mentioned masks according to your skin type but before applying these masks you should do this step first.



Take one tomato,slice it and rub it all over your face to get relieve of sun burn. Wash it off after 5 minutes.
Now pick a mask of your skin type :
Mask 1: Honey Mask


Apply pure honey all over ur face or other effected areas of body as a rejuvenating mask and cleansers. Wash after 10 minutes and pat dry.
Mask 2:Termeric Mask



Turmeric powder 2-3 tablespoon
Gram flour 2-3 tablespoon 
Almond oil 1/2 tablespoon 
Cucumber juice 1tablespoon
Milk enough to form a thick paste 

Mix all these things and apply all over your face and other affected areas, let it dry for 15-20 minutes and wash it off.

Mask 3:Potato and Avacado



Take one potato and an avacado , cut them in cubes and in a blender while using little water make a paste. 
Apply all over your face and wash it off after 10 minutes.

Mask 4: Yougart and Tomato



Simply blend one tomato in a half cup of yougart and use as coolant for your face, neck or even your under arms. Wash it after 10 minutes.

Note; If irritation occurs then you should discontinue using it as the masks may not suited your skin type ( but this would be rare)

After going through step one now follow step 2

Step 2; Take Bath



It's not directly related to the facial care but after wearing those messy masks I prefer to take bath , it also minimize the sunburn effects. So here are some ideas.
Baking Soda Bath:
Add a few heap tablespoons of baking soda to cool bath water. It makes sun burns sooths any where on the body. But make sure the duration should be very short ,as for just 10-15 minutes otherwise baking soda will leaves your skin dry .
Oat Meal Bath:
Add one whole cup of oatmeal in the cool water bath tub ( don't use child water) and soak for about 15-20 minutes. It will give your skin a soothing effect.
Note;
Drink up all day long , drinking lots of water is a  key as  plenty of water reverse the effects of sunburn.

Step 3;
Apply toner;
After applying face mask and taking a good bath , now it's time to tone your face. Below are some methods to prepare toner according to your skin type.
Tomato and lemon toner:



Blend one tomato with little water, then separate the juice with the help of fine-mesh sieve.
Now add 3-4 drops of lemon juice. Apply all over the face with the help of cotton balls. It is used to shrink the pores.
Lemon toner;

Mix one table spoon of lemon juice in half cup of water. Apply with cotton ball. Wash after one hour or leave it on your skin .
Rose water and Alum toner;



Half tablespoon of Alum, half cup of rose water and 1/4 cup of glycerin. Mix them well and refrigerate . 

Mint Leaves Toner; 


This toner is very mild and works for all skin types
Take two handsfull of mint leaves.
Boil them in 1 cup of water for 1 minute. Let it cool.
Cucumber toner;


Take some water and 1cucumber , blend them. Use fine-mesh sieve to separate juice and refrigerate.

Note;
You can once make a toner, let it cool in a fridge and use it for many days.

Step 4;
Moisturize;
Use chilled moisturizers of your choice or which you always use by keeping it in fridge,immediately after your bath as sun dries out skin surface.
